ok everyone says aptens chip are the best.... but im thinking about just gettin a custom burned chip from a local performance place the guy there says with 92 octane it will gain 15-20 rwhp. does that seem right for a custom burned chip?

Well, if you believe that your exhaust actually gave you 17rwhp (+/- 20 fwhp), than sure, get the chip with the promise of 15-20rwhp.
