Hi everybody i had just bought a 96 ford explorer 4.0 eddie baurer. my co-worker sold it to me for dirt cheap
!! i only spent 600 bucks! Of course there are few things that needs to be done to it such as new o2 sensors i had already put on new ball joints on the passenger side the upper ball was ready to go it was really rusted and noisy. i think my co-work said that the oil leaks and the radiator too. I just recently changed out the radiator because the old one had a 4 inch long crack on the side and that was where the coolant was leaking from.
So this is where my first question as a explorer noobie starts. Ok so i went to replace the radiator i took out the fan and the shroud then the belt and finally the radiator itself. When i put everything back on i filled it with water so i can flush it out and drain it but when i go to start the car i get no crank all i hear is a click i have a new battery new alternator what could be the problem. Ive driven the car plenty times before this and this is the firsttime it has done this. Can somebody plz tell me why it is doing this? does changing the radiator had anything to do with it????????????????????
