Probably a short in the wiring harness. sounds like what my moms old vans window controllers did. check at the door hinges where the wiring travels through and see if there is any cut/ torn wires. also check the speaker connectors themselves.

I'm trying to remember if there are any connectors there. If so, one may be coming separated

ok i took out the kick panel and there's a plug there when i wiggle the wires coming out the sopund goes in/out so next question

HOW DO I FIX IT!?>!?!?!?!?!?!

Well the only thing that confuses me is that he said sometimes all of em go out? wouldnt the left side speakers be run on the left side of the vehicle?

Take a test light and test the connector. test it from the receiving end and the sending end. see if its because of the connector itself or from the main harness.

take a quick pic or two for quick reference. hard to know what your talking about if i cant visualize it

The SAME thing happened to my wife's explorer, but it progressively got worse until no sound at all came out!! Currently I have not been able to figure out what happened - she still has no sound... I pulled the kick panel off, and no luck. It also happened when you stomp your foot by the kick panel on the floor.

The people we bought the car from had circut city (i know... big mistake) rewire the whole car, so I have no idea what to do from there... But I noticed that the Ebrake pedal actually cut into the wires above it that were hanging down a little bit - maybe check there to see if that may have something to do with it as well?

Also check those molex connectors in the door hinges. make sure the wires coming in the door arent severed.
