If you're a college student, try your bookshop. You can get Adobe stuff for really cheap with the student discount. I got the Digital Media Collection for $550. It includes Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Image Ready and Studio. Great deal. Would have cost almost $2000 separately.

Maybe, maybe not. Anyhow, that was for the whole collection. If you only want Photoshop, or even Photoshop Elements, you can get that for much cheaper than $200.

just download it off kazaa or any other P2P program... it's what I did, Photoshop 7.0 for free it took me around 2 days with my steamy 56k conn. and your at college which usually has some good bandwidth.

MSPaint works too.. I do everything in Paint b/c i'm too cheap/lazy to get Photoshop

Photoshop will always be better It (MSPaint) will allow you to save as whatever you want, jpg is fine.
