HI all - first time here. Trying to find out what to do or if others have had this problem. '05 Mountaineer Premier v8. Twice have had to replace my rear signal lights, and now recently had my Sirius radio stop working. Took it back to the audio guy and he found my problem. On the driver's side directly betwen the rear wheel and the tail lights there is a depressionin the body where an electrical box is and where they installed the tuner. (as you can tell by now I am not great with technical car stuff). You have to remove a plastic deep pocket to get to it, there is a hinged cover to get to it. Well, there was an inch of water in the area! The tuner was rusted out, there is a metal part that is completely rusted on the bottom of the body (not all the way through yet). WOuld anyone have any ideas where the leak could be coming from? The water was obviouly higher at some point as you could see lines where it went up to. We looked all over to try and pin point it and couldn't. Has anyone else had this problem before?
