So I found this brush guard for $20 on craigslist and after a long drive, I got it home. After lining it up to my bumper it looks like I will have to trip the plastic off the front of my truck to get it to flush with the frame/bumper.

Can anyone ID this guard?

Looks like a 1st gen guard to me. The 2nd gens are a Y shape for the grill, and have a different mount brackets.

I made a 1st gen guard fit a 2nd gen, but had to weld mounts that fit inside the frame to bolt to.

That brush guard does not have frame mounts. Its designed to be bolted to steel bumpers (have to drill 4 holes in the bumper). You can have frame mounts fabbed up for it for probably $50 if you want more solid protection. Since you paid $20 not a bad deal all around.

Thanks for the replies guys. Im taking it to a local 4x4 shop near me. Is there anyone that you guys recommend that could fab up some brackets and have them shipped? Or would it need to be local as well.

BTW here is a pic of it on the vehicle originally before i snagged it.

Well i talked to a local 4x4 guy and he can hook it up (probably bolting to the bumper) for around 80 after labor and all. So unless I find something else between now and then (fabrication wise) I guess im going to go that route.
