I like it. You did good. You should tell everyone it cost you 250 bucks, LOL.

Looking good!

That looks great!

Where did you get the "mesh"

Aww, I clicked on this thread thinking I'd see something to cook my burgers on at Big Bear this weekend!

Looks good, though!

I like it.

Looks good! Don't stop now, do the bottom one also on the bumper! :)

Do you have a shot of how you attached the mesh grille to the back?

Bill, you can cook your burgers on my grill, its big enough for both of us.

Actually it's not boltedat all! The Mesh was only 30" long and the opening was gonna be 31" wide :banghead: So I only cut the grill 30" and left a 1" tab on either side. Then painted tabs black, so you can't see them unless your looking for them. This makes it so you have to pull the tabs back to get the mesh in but it then sandwich it in. Then the are two 45 brakets at the top that keep it pushed forward. I hope this made sence

Sorry about makeing you hungry Bill! :p

from this day forward I dub myself "Picture Nazi". It will be my duty to explain to the average layman that when you do a kick-arse mod like this you TAKE PICTURES SO WE HAVE A CLUE HOW YOU DID IT! :banghead:

Thank you, my work is done here.
:)

Yes, I agree....More pictures are in order in here I think. Plus....What kind of mesh and where did you get it? :hammer:

Looks great! I definitely want to know how you did it (so I can do it and claim I figured it out all by myself :) ) I have some mesh in my garage that looks like that, don't know where I got it though. I think it's from Home Depot, I think I've seen it used in masonry and applying stucco to houses, fwiw.

Nice Grill!

I also made my own grill...today actually... It cost me a can of primer and a can of white gloss paint... soo under 10 bucks! :) It looks kinda ghetto up close, so Im thinking of using good paint, and possibly adding a mesh backing
