Tbomb i would love to see them but the pictures dont work.

sorry, just fixed em. when i get another free minute, ill post a pic so you can see exactly what it looks like under there.

hmm, now that i actually look at these pics on a regular monitor, not my laptop monitor, you cant really see what i circled there. ill have to get up some more pics soon.

why is it cut off way up there?

jim, dunno. they bent the pipe at angle downwards, like, at just about the stock angle (maybe 30-40 degrees), then they cut it off just after the bend - there about an inch of straight pipe before they cut it. i think its awesome. i dont have to worry about getting a tip, which is a pain, cuz chrome rusts and stainless steel is expensive, and if they would have just run the aluminized pipe out to the back edge of the bumper, then you could see the ugly pipe there.

by the way, since going back to stock, i can feel the torquw back in the truck. i noticed a little loss when i went to 2.5" pipes on my aftermarket system. im much happier with this setup.

I thought that the reason that the exhaust pipe was extended past the bumper was so that the fumes would not enter the interior of the vehicle from underneath? Maybe I'm wrong. Let us know if you come down with a sudden case of Carbon Monoxide poisoning.

no fumes are getting in my truck...hopefully. once a i get a good pic of it, you guys'll see. its really not under the truck, its just, like, under the bumper, but its not before the bumper. itll pass inspection. i still may end up throwing a tip on there. and if by chance i do have a problem with it, its going back to meineke for FREE.

you ever see the exhaust on a jeep cherokee?...how it comes to back of the vehicle, but soesnt stick out past the bumper, and its angled down a bit, well, thats what mine looks like, but the explorer has a 'lower' body, so you cant see it on mine.

my buddy has a Jeep, so I know what youre talking about. I say throw a nice chrome tip on there anyway. Just my opinion. BTW, did you ever sell your wheels and tires?

heres a close up so you guys can see the end of the pipe:

sideswipe, i sold the rims, sent the spacers back, and i still have the tires, willychu might buy em in a few months, he said he needs new ones, unless i get some money, ill go get new rims with a different offset so i wont need spacers.

were you not pleased with the spacers? i was thinking of buying some in a few days. please let me know what your thoughts are. thanks

exh

I like the hidden pipe.

What kind of exhaust did you used to have and how was it flawed that you had to get rid of it?

How do you explain the no fumes in truck thing? Just curious.

Thanks....

big k, the spacers made me nervous driving my truck. theres twice as many conenctions there as there are suppossed to be. also the inner bolts tend to come loose, as well as some extra wheel bearing stress. not to mention that i later found out that in PA theyre illegal - i dont know about other states.

j. kennedy, i just had some high flow, low noise muffler, it was a no name, and it was damn quiet, but still too loud for me. i like it silent on the highway.

aldive...what? heh, what do you mean, "how do i explain it?" the pipe goes to the edge of my vehicle, it doesnt end underneath the middle of the truck, and if fumes were getting in my truck i think id smell them, and if i didnt smell them, i think i would notice them (i.e.: headaches, passing out, short of breath, etc) - i spend way too much time in my truck to know if theres fumes getting in there.
