My Odometer isn't working

on my 96 Explorer Sport v6 4x4 OHV.

I had no idea it wasn't working until today...

Where does this plug in under the hood? Do I need to remove the cluster and replace it?

there are tons of threads related to this. and they all vary, so.... check the link below and start reading and diagnosing your problem. there could be a number of reasons why it has stopped, just like my speedo is now bouncing all around out of nowhere (loose connection). yours could be something simple like that, then again it could be much more complex, none of us here are really gonna know till you start to diagnose the problem step by step.

Did some research on the board, and it turns out the worm gears tend to break.
