my radio

I have a stock radion in my 97 explorer. It works fine sound wise but when i ture it on sometimes the time and what radio station appears and sometimes they don't. Is this a wiring problem or what...?

Welcome to the site. Do a search for radio display. Common problem. Some have had success fixing it themselves while other choose to send out the radio for repair. Lots of info on this site about it. Good luck.

mine did that when i bought it....had the dealer send it for repair...it worked for about 5 mins and now its back to working when it wants.......they gave me $100 check
