My rear A/C doesn't work.

Hi from Houston Tx area! First Explorer but it comes with a few problems. 2005 Eddie Bauer with the 4.0L. I'm gonna do some research on here but if y'all have any input it's much appreciated! The rear air/heat doesn't get cold. I hsae removed the temp blend door actuator and manually flipped the temp blend door to both hot and cold but while the hot get super hot, the cold is only room temperature. (no refrigeration) The front is super cold so I know the system is charged. I'm thinking there's an orifice tube in the reear system as well as the front and that it's clogged. I'm gonna look for a schematic of the rear air system to see if my assumptiion is correct. Any input is greatly appreciated. I also have a few other woes with this thing but the rear ac takes precedence!

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the A/C & heater section. What's the temperature where you live? It's 38* where I live. Most people are complaining about not having heat at this time of year.

ha! right now were seein about 60 at night and bw 75 and 80 during the day. Only gettin hotter!
