So I just bought a 98 explorer 4.0 SOHC. Guy told me it just needed a tune up. That was far from the truth as I now have a fix it list longer than I wanted. One problem I have is the A/C. The controls don't light up at all and the knobs don't do anything. I've checked all the fuses and relays and none of them looked broken. I have no clue as to how to tell if a relay is good or bad. When I turn my A/C controls to any setting, I get nothing. The only reaction I've gotten is a 2 second hissing noise when put on the first A/C setting. Any help would be great.
