Well, my trans was rebuilt and everything was cool. Then, it wouldn't shift any higher than first. I took it back in, it was just a vacuum tube out of place. That fixed, I am again on the road. Now, when I'm driving at 60-70 mph, the road noise seems louder than before. I don't know what it is, but I'm afraid there might be something new wrong with the trans. Before, the ride was cush except for the design flaw vibrations at 60-65. Now, its like on older asphalt, it feels like I'm driving on gravel! And it sounds like it too. I almost pulled over but hit a smoother patch of road and it stopped. Whats up? Its like my tires are oversensitive all of the sudden, but I really can't tell. I'm taking it back to the shop to be looked at again (these guys are so glad I chose their shop out of all the shops in the world I'm sure). I checked the trans fluid and its fine. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? I have a long road trip coming up and I'm a little worried about it.
