My run in with an ower of a ford dealer

I've had a Focus loaner a few times and your right about how it corners. It zips around too....it's funny when you floor it, it drops back and then guns it hehehehehe. Made me feel better about why I had the loaner in the first place.

Even though I dont have the Tracker it was still really fun with the focus. I really tested it out, and it held up very well. Ive been looking into buying 1 after driving them. They are not that expensive either, for what you get. I hear the SVT model really hauls ass. I hope to drive 1 soon.

Heck, when I bought my Explorer (From Dowling Ford in Cheshire, CT) I received, IN WRITING a threatening letter from the salesman to my family! My wife happened to open the mail and went over to the dealer and gave it to them. I too called Ford Corp and it realy pissed me off that they don't care what their dealers do. blah blah it's up to you and the Ford drealership owner... Well if I was Ford I certainly would be taking an active stance on what the dealers are doing since they area representitive of ME!
(That wouldn't happen with Toyota...Biting my tongue)

had a mustang gt. always got the best service from the dealer that i bought it from. moved to louisiana and had all the fluids serviced. started driving to New Orleans and it locks up in 3rd getting back on the freeway. limped it to the dealer in Baton Rouge and they informed me someone had put 90 weight in it instead of ATF. i was like "great, i'll never prove they did that". I pulled out my dealer reciept and it was even itemized 3 quarts of 90 wt gear oil. took it back to the dealer and they denied the putting the wrong stuff in. i showed them the reciept and the service manager admitted it but wouldn't pay for the damages. contacted the owner and he agreed to pay for the labor if i payed parts........not acceptable. call ford consumer hotline.....guess what? we're sorry sir, we don't have control over our independent dealers. oh, this dealer is in Leesville, Louisiana.

Oh man... i would be going inane right now... if it were me, i would be on the phone with a lawyer right now. Im sure that would shake em up alittle.
