Tonight my 1993 Ford Explorer XLT was stolen.

VIN#
It has a Green Exterior, and Grey Interior.

It only has 86,000 mi.

It was stolen out of the parking lot of the local skating rink, here in Bremerton, Washington. 14 mi. west of Seattle.

Be on the lookout.

Dang, That Sucks!

That sucks dude. I'm sorry to hear that. Hope they find it soon. I'll keep a look out for any X with WA plates.

Any more details? Does it stand out somehow? Pics?

I will post it over at PBB if it is noticable outside of stock. They have a whole "stolen rig" forum.

also, post any mods so we can notice if someone is trying to sell parts really cheap......

Good luck man, i hope you find it. Also if you cant post pics for robb let us know, you can send them to us or him. Im sure that would be ok in this situation.

One tone or two tone or what?

GOOD NEWS!

I drove ALL OVER TOWN.....and found it!

It was parked in a City Park. No body damage, it seems they took it and went joyriding, I am missing a cartridge for my 6-disc changer I have installed in the console, THAT sucker is bolted down, it took me about 2 hours to install it, and it will take me about 1 hour to remove it.

They also busted the console arm rest, but I still have a spare one from when it was broken into in October.

glad to hear you found it!

what kind of anti theft devices do you have? forced entry? it was stolen in october as well? sounds like someones playing a prank on you or just doesnt like you very much...... might be time for an alarm system with a 140 db siren inside of the car..... that will deter any thieve if they cant shut it off

how did they steal it did you leave it running or something

well good news.
Time to go alarm shopping !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ryan,

I'm so glad you found your rig and that there was not too much damage.

Two words......Alarm system :D

Dang, i'm really glad to hear it all worked out. I'd cry like alittle schoolgirl (a hairy 250 schoolgirl **shudder**) if anyone stole my explorer.

Congrat,
CP :)

all ive got to say is wow and your very lucky that some one didnt park it, take the tires off of it and burn it, which happened to my friend

You are one lucky dude is all I have to say!!

Glad you found it. My heart would drop if I walked out side and found one of my Explorers missing.

BTW, I was beginning to suspect fowl play by GinaGem.

I say, one word- "LO-JACK". (or is that 2 words  ) :D

I once got an '88 prelude stolen. Cops found it 4 days later about 3 miles away. It had an alarm system and everything. Nothing was stolen but the steering column was busted open. $300 later, it was good to go.

That really sucks when someone takes your car like that... I did go through this once before when they stole my Bimmer.... found it three days later at a City pound... burned!!! they only stole it to take air bags out....

I'm kind of puzzled though... they really went to great lenghts to steal it... get in, start it, drive it but yet they managed to only take a cartridge out... kind of stupid what people do sometimes...
