Okay, so now whenever I start my explorer there is a clunking noise comming from the left side of the engine down by where the pedals are. I can feel it clunk that's why I say it's from down there. To add on to this, It's also hard to put into gear from park after the clunk happens. I have the stock engine and a4ld tranny. Any suggestions?

Engine mount, RA bushing, heat shields, all can cause clunk. You really have to get under there & start eliminating things.

I discovered there is no tranny fluid in the transmission, at least it's not registering on the dipstick. So that solves the "hard to get in gear problem." I will crawl underneath and check all the shields and see what wiggles. Thanks for the input Jason
