Can someone point me in the right direction ---- I'm looking for a replacement PCV Grommet for an 98 OHV. This little bugger is wearing out and I believe not longer holding vaccum. Probably from messing with the PCV frequently to do the Seafoam treatments. Can't find it in the major auto chains.

I don't see it at Dorman. Only for the v8. Do you have a product number?

...I would contact them with your inquiry...They would be the company that would have it...;)

Have someone at NAPA check their Balkamp line. I think that's where I got my last one.

Some PCV grommets are dealer only, I asked in all the parts houses. The 4.6L engines are not aftermarket, possibly the V6 ex too, so be prepared to ask the dealer. They are under $10 though.

Further inspection and testing tells me that the grommet is good, its the hose that's bad (and leaking). I replaced it with a length of vacuum hose but that's not working because there's a particular angle that the vac hose can't do. Well it can do it, but then it tries to unravel and unseats the PCV.

.... No luck finding the hose either... :thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn:

Do I really need to order this part from the dealer

Getting closer... the picture doesn't match though. The hose on the OHV is about 3 inches, shaped like a backward "S", and is a molded hose, not a hard plastic elbow.

Appreciate those links though.
