Mystery switch on dashboard

I have searched the internet, looked at every available piece of literature about our Explorer and still haven't been able to find out what the switch is that is between the headlamp/foglight cluster and the "Park Assist" on my dashboard. It is a simple "open/close" switch with those symbols on it. It doesn't appear to do anything.

Does anyone have that on their dash and if so, what does it do?

It is a 4x4 and the switch is on/off (the symbols on it are for and open/closed circuit). It doesn't do anything visible when switched on and off. I will try to follow the wires, but it gets tight in there...

If it's between the actual headlight switch bezel and the back-up sensor switch, it was added by a previous owner. There wasn't a switch in that location from the factory. Do you have a pic?

Probably a BWM or auxiliary lights.

Here it is. Looks like two red wires going over toward the drivers side but they are lost to view quickly without taking anything apart.

That's the passenger ejection seat activation switch. Whatever you do, don't hit the horn once that switch is flipped on.

That's the nitrous activation switch. JK.

It's an after market switch. I'm guessing someone had aux or underbody lights or something similar.

lol, that's a police radar jamming switch. Switch that on speed traps and you'll never get a ticket for over speeding.. let us know otherwise

Lincolnshibuya that's very close to what it is. It is to help speed whenever you want, but it is an invisibility cloaking device. Just turn it on and then no one can see you.

Wire goes to the back of the stereo. When you plug your phone into the Auxiliary Jack in next to the powerpoint in the center console and tune your radio to 88.3 FM, you can listen to your phone through the stereo. If you don't have the phone plugged in but are listening to a different station, it acts as an antenna booster (weaker stations come in clearer). Thanks for all the "help"!
