Hey all I am Gilby and am on a few different forums for my vehicles.. I have a bad problem, I have 4 vehicles including my 97 Mountaineer. I use to own a 91 Explorer and also own a 98 Cobra, 95 Mark VIII and a 90 Mustang LX vert. looking forward to finding out new tricks to my mountaineer and thanks...

I am on LVC and Buckeyestangs, svtperformance and a couple others... LVC has helped me out a lot with the Mark and have made a lot of friends... Hoping to do this same with this site

Yep, im the same guy on LVC lol, im in the LS forums, but you'll love this site too I like this one alot more....alot more members and whatnot, and everyones very friendly and helpful, I noticed (at least on the LS forums) there were a lot of younger punks who just like to run theyre mouths and whatnot haha, none of that on here

I cant see the pic, but if its an OLD thread I posted on, it was one of those times where a certain group of members were destroying my threads about me not being elite, and one member was going way to far with it bashing on my ride and even going as far as involving my family.

But all is better now and im addicted to EF

Hey Gilby, welcome to the site. EF is by far the best Explorer/Mountaineer resource anywhere.

That's quite the stable you have there. I assume the Mounty has the V8? Lots of great resources and modding opportunities for the 5.0. Make sure to use "Torque Monster" as a search term in both EF's search engines and Google to see what I mean. Those headers are only available to us 5.0 owners.

There's a pretty sizeable Mountaineer contingent on the site that will have plenty to add.

lol the Mountaineer is a 5.0, the Cobra and the Mark VIII are both 4.6 DOHC and the vert was going to be a 5.0(its a project car that i lost interest in) but now im going to sell it so i dont really care about that one... I am not the only member in the family to have an explorer, my parents have an 04 and use to have a 93, my brother has a 99 and my other brother use to have a 97, all with the V-8 except the 93, for some reason i just cant help but get a v-8 lol

That's a whole lotta V8s. I'd never owned an 8 before my current ride in any vehicle. Needless to say, I love it.
