My mother's 95 4x4 Explorer Eddie Bauer was in an accident.

The front passenger side was smashed, the tire was pushed in and I'm trying to convince it can be easily fixed for fairly cheap instead of junking it.

Please name these parts. These aren't actual pictures of the truck, these are pix I found on the internet to help me with.

PART A:
Tie Rod

PART B:
Lower Control Arm

PART C:
Steering Knuckle

A. Inner & Outer Tie rod Ends
B. Lower A-Arm
C. Spindle

spindle is the bearing, it's called a steering knuckle

Yeah your right..

this is what you should be buying

*spindle/knuckle, with hub (main part that wheel attaches to, yes same part)

*upper control arm ( part thats bolted to the top of the spindle)

*lower control arm (part thats bolted to the bottom of the spindle)

*rack and pinion assembley ( the first pic but the actual gear also with inner and out tie rod ends)

buy all these used, should cost about 500$ and also buy the "camber" adjustment washers also when you get it aligned

Sorry guys but I already had these questions answered on another forum. It took so long for the mod to approve this thread that I already found out the names.

Part A: Tie Rod

Part B: Lower Control Arm

Part C: Steering Knuckle
