Truthfully I don't care what it is called, I need to know where it goes. I dropped my tranny pan today and it was floating around in there. From looking at the valve body, I can't tell where is goes.

let' see if I can describe it. Kinda looks like a kids toy, a spinning top. It has a 1.5" stem and a bulb about like the end of your thumb. There is an o-ring at the bottom of the bulb. It is light green in color. If you reply with your email address I can email you a picture.

Can anyone help? or explain to me how to upload cause when you click the "insert image" icon it asks for a URL.

it the plug when the vehicle was assembled, when they insert the dipstick tube it goes into the pan.

you can take it out.

awesome. you know I now remember watching a you tube video and the guy mentioned that. Thanks alot, now I can put everything back with no worries. Plus is lets me know that no has been in this tranny.
