Need 2002 S/T Headliner Removal Instructions

Due to hail damage on the roof I need to drop the Headliner in my '02 S/T (w/o sunroof).

Are there any DETAILED instructions on how do do so??

I realize many of the parts/pieces that need to be removed are screwed on and I can handle that.

BUT what about the little plastic thingies that have to be sqeezed, pried,pushed,twisted, etc to come off????

I dont want to just yank things off (thus breaking things) only to find out later that if I twisted a plastic part 90 degrees the at would have fallen off.

You need a trim removal tool to pry out the round thingies. Most auto parts stores sell them for a few bucks.

Its great that this thread popped up today. I will be needing to do this soon also. My roof has a slight (Lol) dent. I need to remove the pass seat anyway so its good that you need to do this to get the headliner out the back door.

Ah, nice catch. I must have read a different tutorial the other day that said back door. Or Im just getting senile in my old age. LOL.
