Need a 95 Transmssion, what years fit?

I have a 1995 Explorer 4x4 4.0 not shifting out of 2nd, figuring it is a transmission problem, what years will work with this. Also, what transmission model is in this? Thanks

I know it is the 4r55e but are 2wd and 4wd the same?
