OEM is a 8” 2ohmX2ohm and 45wX45w in a .5cuft enclosure its kinda hard to find an exact match. JL Audio makes an 8”4-ohm W1v2.

i went so far a replacing it with a 10" and amp combo.

wow, thats a bit more than i wanted to get into. haha.very well done tho. i'm guessing any 8'' with close specs will work with the stock amp, right? i really just want to spend under $100 on a sub and just swap it out, thats it.

the problem i had is i couldn't find many 8" to pick from. boatloads of 10"s.
Are you door speakers still stock? JLAudio had something close, i almost put in the 8" pioneer. It was that Dual 2ohm Voice coils that i got hung up on, i didn't find any.

what about a Junkyard? they seem to be all the same from '02 and up, might be a cheap test, any chance the amp is shot? double check the wiring too and plugs too.

It might help you to know, that there is only one signal going into the sub amp, but 4 wires coming out of it to the speaker for Dual VC. Another thing is the OEM Radio only puts out a sub signal if it senses (somehow?) the OEM sub amp.

Contact www.partsexpress.com and see if they have something that might work.

I have bought from them numerous times. Great business. They usually respond to my questions within one business day.
