need advice with 01 explorer spt

lasth may i purchased an 01 explorer sport. its the automatic 4x4 prem package. my question is about the suspension. can it be lifted? i have read many things that dont make sense like the suspension kits for the rangers would work with little modification, or that the new explorers are independent front and rear suspension so i should give up all help. is there anything out there that will lift my explorer? i was invisioning 3-6 inches and i dont like the fake apearance of body lifts. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

superlift makes a susp lift that is 4" other than that you can do a torsion twist and warrior shackles for 2"

do some searching around on the site and you will find TONS of info

still my question remains, is there anything different from my 01 and the 02-04's? the superlift website says they make a 4" system for the 96-01 explorer, is will this work since mine is a sport? and if this would work why wouldnt it work on an 02, they apear the same?

I believe the Sport model was discontinued in 2003 and the fully redesigned (4th generation) debuted in 2002.*don't quote me on that. So when a manufacturer says that their product will only work on let's say '96-'01, they say that so as not to confuse someone, who owns a 4th gen, into buying the product. Now that doesn't mean it will not work a 2002-03 Sport. Do you get what I mean?
