Had to replace front pump seal on my 88' Bronco II 2.9 4X4 and figured I would do some upgrades. Bought Superior VB Kit, Sonnax Boost Valve and Servo's. During upgrade I find I can not get Boost Valve and TCC Valve out to replace springs after removal of L retainers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I have found spraying down/soaking with WD40 works for me. Just don't go prying, you will destroy the VB. Sometimes the end plugs and valves will just not come out.

Thanks for the response.

It seems like something is holding like another retainer. I can push the old valves in easily and let go and the valve pops back but won't go past where the retainer would hold it. It couldn't be dirt or tarnish, the VB is super clean. So the Sonnax Boost valve is probably the most important upgrade I am doing, so I can't accept that it "just won't come out".

Well I soaked the valves in WD and kept pushing it in and letting it come back, finally the boost valve came out all the way. The TCC valve needed some more coaxing, I was able to get a dental puck behind one of the grooves and gently added a little pressure till it popped. Thanks for the advice.
Just a point of info for those shopping for parts, I found PATC sucks, shipped my parts two days after promising, very poor customer service too. Sales Techs had very little knowledge.

Good job! Glad it worked out for you.
