I'll make it quick and I've searched but nobody said THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM YET. Changed my tranny and started the truck and everythings fine, take it for a drive and 1 mile down the road I get the loudest tick I've ever heard. Drove home and it seems to come from the front of the engine. If I accelerate when the RPM drops I get a squicky noise from the motor. Please let me know if anyone encountered this. I might do the timing chain tomorrow as I think it might've jumped

Timing chains rarely jump time on the OHV V6. Was the noise possibly coming from any of the accesories/tensioners turned by the drivebelt? Spark leak or exhaust leak? So many other possibilities before determining the timing chain is at fault.
