I started my own Jamest smoothie bumper a couple of weeks ago. I started sanding the chrome part of the bumper and it came out looking like brushed-aluminum. Looks pretty good, I thought. I don't know if this will rust overtime though.
Now should I keep that look or should I go for monochromatic look and paint the whole thing body color? I asked a couple of friends and they are like 50/50 on this. No help at all- so I figured I'd go here and get some advise.
I don't know how this would look like when painted all in tan unless somebody photochopped this for me. (hint hint

So, what do you guys think- keep it brushed-aluminum looking or paint it all tan?
