need advise with an old prob.

i have a 4.0 in my 1993 explorer . iv changed every sensor in the truck and she still runs lean . and idles rough . iv gutted the cat and she still runs rough . and runs lean . will the computer cause all these probs , i dont know what else to change on it . iv been fighting this prob for a year now . and the check engine light goes on and off while im cruising down the road .

it just may be a bad pcm. and gutting the cat probably didn't help matters any, may have made them worse. what are the codes? are they those lean codes (was that you in another thread?)

Have you checked and confirmed that there are no vacuum leaks? If there aren't and everything else is working properly, the only thing left is the computer.

Hwve you checked the fuel pressure and filter?

Did you reset the computer after all the sensor changes?
