NEED ASAP- Difference between 95 and 99 OHVs (motor seized)

My motor seized up on the way to work today. It's been running rough and making a piercing metal on metal sound on startup. I checked starter and the pulleys... and I think it is internal. There is coolant leaking now so I'm about 99% sure I broke a rod... like I said, now it won't start.

I have the 95 OHV and am planning on swapping in a 98 or 99 OHV. Is there a difference between the motors? Can I use the fuel injectors off of the 98? Is everything pretty much the same plug/bolt in? What does this swap require?

Anyone want to help a swap in the Detroit area??? :D

Damn that sucks bro, I too have a 95 and would hate to have somthing like that happen!

Sounds like to run the engine pretty hard?

At some point, Ford changed the head design slightly; I think you can bolt on 98 or 99 heads to a 95 block with no problems. If I remember correctly, this will raise the compression ratio a little. I think the injectors are the same.

The only thing is, make sure the computer is the same between your 95 and the 98-99 donor vehicle. I'm not sure when Ford switched over to OBD V, but I know my 94 has OBD IV...

Your '95 is OBD-I so you will need to use all the sensors and stuff off of it, not the ones on the engine.

so can I just bolt the 98 in and use my current computer? Do they have all the same sensors/intake/exhaust?
