Hey yall! Sorry I have been gone for so long, ive been really busy. I just got a ton of $ for Christmas though and im dying to spend it. Tommorow, I am going to order a bunch of stuff, but I need a little help deciding what I am going to get exactly.

I want to get a brushguard and some good lights to go on it. I have about $500-$700 that I am willing to spend. I need fog lights mainly.

I have already decided on what brush guard I am going to get. I am going to buy the Smittybilt Outlander Modual Guard (hi-gloss black) because it looks great and has 4 light mounts already on it (2 down, 2 up).

Now, for the lights. I really want to get some great fog lights and then some good driving lights too. I absolutely love the Piaa 90 Pro XTs. I love how they look, and they come in one light. The problem is: they are expensive. But the other question (more importantly) is whether they will fit on the downfacing side of the brush guard! Does anyone have this guard and will it fit the 90 XTs? If I do not get the 90s, I am probably going to get the 959s with Hella 4000 Euros. If I do get the 90s, I will hold off on the Hellas for a little while. Also, how do the 959s compare with the Hella Micro FFs? Which is better for fog lights in snow and on the highway?

Thanks a lot guys! By the end of tommorow, I need to have answered:
will the 90 Pro XTs fit in the lower slot of the brush guard?
which is better: 959 or Micro FF?

THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Easy Fix:

To simplify what I said above: If price is no object, what is/are the best dam fog lights on the market? 959s? Micro FFs? 520s? What? and I need to know soon! Thanks!

P.S. Matt....where are you on this one? :) I see you online...

Golly sorry, I do work for a living sometimes! LOL j/k. OK, lets see... might have to measure the space in between the rails on that brush guard to see if they'd fit, also would you be putting them over or under the rail? If under, you'd have to worry about the "lip" that most brush guards have that makes the steel look thicker then it is... otherwise you should be able to fit them over, depending ont eh width of the brush guard. DO you know the approximate dimensions? I have no experience with the Hella OR the 959's. I know the 959's are a decent fog light in a small size, but I have no idea how they compare to the hella... sorry I can't be of more help to you.

Oh well, thanks anyways Matt. I think that I will just ask the sales guy at 4wheelparts (who has been great in the past) about it. Cya later!

Guard and LIGHTS!

Well, I got my brushguard (Smittybilt Outland) yesterday. They screwed up on the order on 2 counts. First, for ease of installation, I wanted the modular instead of the one piece. I got the big a** one-piece. Oh well. Second, I wanted the straight black. They misunderstood and got the textured black. It looks good though so I let it slide. Installation was somewhat of a *****. The hardest part was the fact that the huge bolts holding onto the bumper were rusted onto the frame!! It took me an hour and a half just go get those off. It took me 3 hours though to get it on off-centered and slanted. So I took it back off today, and reattached it (even the bolts on the bumpers) so it looks perfect now. And im rambling...

Here comes the great part though: I ordered my lights today!!! For fogs, I decided on the PIAA 1900X. It is supposed to be really good. For offroad, I got 2 Hella 4000 Euros. And best of all, 4wheelparts is shipping them overnight so I can have them tommorow for this huge noreaster heading our way. AWESOME!! IM SO EXCITED! I tell you guys about the install tommorow night! Cya later
