I took trash to dumpster up my driveway and it started fine. Got out and put trash in dumpster got back in tried to start it up it wont start. So luckily my neighbor is a mechanic he went up there said i was out of gas. I was like wtf i had a 1/4 of a tank. Went to town and got 4 gallons got back and it started up. well this morning i went out it starts up fine but when i turn it off and then try to restart i have to hold the throttle wide open for it to start. My neighbor is out of town now so i have no clue what the problem is. there are no trouble codes. I dont know if its a weak starter/fuel pump o just a sensor of some sort. After running it runs great no hesitation at all.

When it finally starts, does it run ok or does it miss? If it's missing, check for a loose vacuum line.

Bad TPS maybe?

i have no clue. Tomorrow im going to do a fuel pressure test. I have no codes stored and it runs great when started so i guess it could be. Its not real cold out so i dont think its the engine coolant temp sensor.

does it start part throttle?

if so probably a bad iac.

I will go out and start it in the morning starts fine. shut it off for 10-15 seconds try to start it will eventually start if keep cranking but if i hold throttle wide open it starts right up

ECT sensor

I seem to recall that if you switch the ignition to run and then depress the accelerator to the floor and crank the starter the PCM leans the air/fuel ratio. If your cold start is fine but your warm start isn't I suspect that your engine coolant temperature sensor is defective. The PCM thinks a cold start is always occuring and the a/f ratio is too rich when the engine is actually warm.

well this might change everything. I just took it for another spin and when i got home i checked for hidden codes one is showing up a p1151. I guess that has somthing to do with a h02s circuit.
