Before we can diagnose that noise we need some background information. You will have to go to the truck and open the drivers door, on it there is a sticker. On that sticker there is a heading that says "axle", under that we need to know what 2 letter/number code is there.
As for the misfire, have you changed all the sparkplugs and wires?
