I've got a 4.0L OHV with 134k on it, would that be able to handle a s/c at those miles? I know the OHVs are workhorses too, but I was still wondering.
Also, it's said that an s/c is the easiest and most cost-effective way to get the power you want. But, if a Vortech s/c is going to cost me about $3500, what makes the s/c better as opposed to spending around $1200 on all the bolt-ons, chip, and cam upgrade (even though I wont get quite as much power
, but still over 200)?? 1200 vs. 3500...my X right now is worth $3500
. I figured I could just sell all my mods and just bite the bullet and get the Vortech + exhaust (I'm getting real tired of my Cherry Bomb)...would that be worth it? Or just stay with the bolt-ons since I've already started on them...I also dont know how much longer I will have the X...
