Hi all, I'm removing my tranny completely today. (finally) and I removed the shifter. However, there is a stub sticking up (1.5 inch) and I have a question. Do I have to remove the stub to get the tranny out? (MDO5 94 explorer) There is a rubber panel stapled down and there is some foam under that. It doesn't appear that it's been removed, but I'm not sure. My chiltons doesn't mention it, but the Ford manual mentions it. I'm not even sure how it's attached. So, can someone help me out here? I'm right in the middle of this job, so I'm hoping to get a fast reply. Thanks if you can...
