Need help fast with electrical prob.

I might be able to pick up a 95 explorer cheap, but I will need to fix the electrical problems first. Does anyone what would cause the head lights and break lights not to work. I think i have checked all the fueses, so does it mean that it is a relay? If so where would it be located? Could it be something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are the tails totally out (running, brake, etc)?

Do the highbeams work with the flasher?

May be the headlight switch.

I think the 3rd brake light works, but the head lights don't work at all. The parking lights work however. I don't know if this is related, but the 4wheel drive button doesn't work either.

Also the console is out of the explorer....is there anything that connects to the console that would have anything to do with this?
