Need Help Finding Skid Plates!!!!....

I am trying to find some skid plates for my 94 Explorer. The local Off-Road shop said that none of their manufacturers have anything available and the Ford Dealer said the Factory stuff is crap. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can find them. Thanks for all fo the help.

Ford factory gas tank skid and transfercase skid isnt bad. Besides they fit adnd just bolt on. goto a junkyear and get em used. or get some fabbed up.

Yup, the Ford plates aren't bad. Like was said, try a junkyard or get some new at www.fordpartsnetwork.com

Thanks for the info, I will check out those sites as well as some of the junk yards. That sounds like it will be much cheaper anyway.

Hey Dwayne,
If you get those skid plates before the Moab run, you could go with us and check out how well they work.
You're not that far away. It would make a great weekend, and you could meet alot of really nice people.
