Search the site, a couple of decent discussions about disconnects and whether to or not.

Good Luck, and Have fun!!!

It is all about how you likr it. Find youself a nice ditch, 1 to 2 feet and run it both ways, with and w/o sway bars and decide for you self how you like it best.

It os all about personal prefference. Find yourself a nice 1' to 2' ditch and run through it bith ways and decide how you like it best. I prefer no sway bars, but I am ususaly to lazy to disconnect them.

Most people keep them connected for the first little while. Then after they get familiar with their vehicle they will disconnect the swaybars.

I usually run with the swaybars disconnected for the hard stuff and connected for the easier stuff. However, I almost always find myself wishing that I had taken the few minutes that it takes to disconnect them. With the sway bars connected you will find that your suspension fights with the body and can cause certain obstacles to be a little unsettling. That being said, you will be fine running with your swaybars connected.

Also since your lift is new, you might want to keep them connected so you can check your suspension for any interferance or other problems at full stuff or max droop. Better to find out that your brake lines might be tight with the swaybar connected than to remove it and find that you have no more brake line!
