Need Help For Friends

Hi, im not a Ford guy, but we did have a 91 Explorer way back in oh god, like 94.

But cutting to the chase I have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ with a PCM4Less tune in it, and i was wondering if there were chips or tunes out there for Ford Escapes and Explorers? Because i told my neighbors about mine in my truck, but i dont know a whole lot about Fords.

If somebody could point me to Chips or Escapes and Explorers i'd really appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum! they do make some parts for explorer. I can't say for Xscrape. You should be able to run a random search for them and find about what your looking for, or see what summit racing has to offer.

Welcome, and yes basically any PCM controlled vehicle from about 1995 can have new tunes applied to it. Right now the latest devices are called flashers, they install the new program through the car's data port in the dash, and save the old program. Contact any SCT dealer or search for the Xcal II flasher of theirs. For Explorers a man named Doug of Bamachips is a well known programmer, ask him about tunes for the Escape as well. The units new are under $375, come with three programs, and any programmer can change them, ofr a fee, by email. Good luck,
