I really appreciate all the responses regarding my annoying buzzing noise from my front wheels problem. after reviewing the responses and searching this great site i have narrowed my problem down to to possible fixes! I could A. bring my x to the dealer to get the bearings repacked and cleaned up ( I took the wheel off to look at the hubs , bearings ect and their seems to be alot of black dust mixed with alot of grease that seems to been pushed to one side)
or
B. Change the auto hubs to manual?
I am young and on a tight budget so i need the choice that will save me $ but not kill me in the future?
I guess It could be long term gain Vs. short term pain?
also any idea how much would i save converting the hubs my self over the good old boys at the dealer doin the job for me?
Ive never done any work on a car besides oil change, wires ect ?
thanks again! this site is great!!!
