Hey everyone, i'm heading out to chubfest in approximatly 5-6 hours and have yet to extend my vent hoses. I have a few questions!

The rear: easy, just gonna take some tubbing I bought and extend it.

The front: I looked in my haynes manual and it doesn't show a vent hose in the diagram...i did a search however and it did say there is a vent hose. My questions, is there one for the d35ttb, and if there is is it located just on top (easy to see)?

Tranny: According to what i've read there is no vent hose for the MOD5-R1 (Manual).

X-fer case: Just want to make sure i'm correct about this. The Vent hose is located between the input and the front output, just up the case alittle. Is this easy to get to? It looks like from the diagram I have there's a "vent hose mounting bracket" (pg 7C-6 in the haynes manual). Does this vent hose just pull off?

I got 20 feet of tubing from Menards for 5 bucks, it's the same OD (if not alittle bigger than the stock vent hose about 5/8") and the ID is 1/2" so I think with the help of a little apple scented dawn lol I can slip it over the stock vent hoses. I'm also going to make some little caps out of some packing foam that came with my computer and zip tie them on the ends of the hoses.

Does this all sound good?

THANKS!!!!

Why not reuse the old caps?
