Hey all,
I just picked up an '03 XLT and I need to put some wheels on this thing. I cannot stand the stockers.
My questions are as follows:
1) What offset should I be looking for in order for the wheels to sit flush with the fender wells? I don't want them to stick out, but definitely don't want them to be further in from the fender wells either. If I had to pick... I'd have 'em stick out just a bit. I've done some searching and it sounds like +18mm should be ok? How low can I go?
2) Do any of you guys know of some decent 20" wheels in a polished aluminum or silver finish that I should look at? I don't wan't chrome and I am looking for something clean, a 5 spoke, 6 spoke, split 5 or split 6. Recessed lip would be nice as well. I saw some nice wheels on 'Rocket 5979's truck in another thread. Anyone know what those are?
