hey guys, first post on here!
ok, so quick back story, picked up a 99 XLT as a project, got her running great, fixed a few other issues -- the windows, wipers, and radio were all inop, so, went to the local yard and got a GEM, plugged up and like magic everything came to life! Winning! That was 2 weeks ago, so today --- the UNLOCK function from the drivers master control went out and all the windows are inop from every switch -- the relay under the dash is clicking, I swapped out the relay with a known good one, relay is good. It is getting hot, and clicks...click, click...click - I am not too worried about the lock function, but I need my windows!!! Ok, so, I am thinking the junkyard GEM went out, but, everything else works -- any other ideas? I checked fuses, they are good, and the power seat which works off that same circuit works.
Thoughts? Thanks a lot!
