I was just wondering how to hard wire a neon so that it comes on with:

A) My foglights

or

B) A switch

I've never done any wiring in a car before, so I'm pretty much in the dark on this one. Any help will be SWEET!

Either way is easy to do. All you have to do is connect the positive wire from the neon to whatever power source you want it to come on with, and connect the negative wire from the neon to a ground point on the chassis.

If you want the neon to come on with foglights, then connect the positive neon wire to the positive fog light wire.

If you want to connect the neon to a switch, then connect the positive wire of the neon to the accessory terminal on the switch and then connect whatever power you want to the switch (battery, ignition, ect). It easy. Just remember...fuse any connections to the battery as close to the battery as possible.

So, say I wanted it to come on with my fogs, I would just secure the negative wire to the frame(grounding point), and twist the positive wire around a stripped portion of my foglight wire?

That sounds right. Just make sure that the fog light wire you twist it around is the POSITIVE lead. The two fog light wires should be different colors and the directions should tell you which is positive and negative. Make sure you attach the wires together securely though...use butt splices or solder and cover the connection with electrical tape to protect it.
