ok i have no idea whats wrong with my explorer. here is download when i first got it died in reverse if you didnt give gas before u put in reverse. went from that to dieing if you didnt give gas or keep rpms up.
now it is dies when u put in gear and hit gas or floor it or give it alot gas. if i slowly reap the engine it does fine and after rpm reach 4k than i floor and does fine for while. it dies in gear when u hit gas too.
i have change the fuel filter and it was nasty so thought that was it and nope still does it but not as bad.
need to know how to check fuel pressure to see if fuel pump not doing its job or if it something like air control valve or throttle sensor or the other sensor on the intake.
i did put cold air intake on it and took the mass flow sensor off and all that tubing. i don't see how this would cause it cuz ran fine when i did this for 2 weeks or longer
