Hello all, I am attempting to replace my EGR valve. the truck tends to idle high and I'm pretty sure it's the EGR valve since I've replaced the IAC. The problem is I can't get the damned thing off. I've tried different methods, I've used an adjustable wrench and that doesn't work, think I've finally found the right size wrench (1-1/16) to do the job. I've doused it in WD40 multiple times; PB Blaster multiple times; Liquid Wrench multiple times, but the damned thing wont budge. Any tips?

Lightly rap on it with a punch and hammer around the thread portion of the valve. Just enough force to hopefully break up some of the rust.

Get some Kroil as your penetrating oil, and try using a torch to heat it.
