I recently installed a heated seat kit into my girlfriends explorer, and it seems that during the installation i must have blown a fuse or relay or something. I can't figure it out...
Here is what doesn't work:
Radio
Fuel Gauge
Rear Wiper
Hazards
Turn Signals
Brake Light
Interior Light
This is all that I can see not working, could be more.
Heres what does work:
Cluster lights
Interior light when car is not on
Front and Tail lights
12V Cigarette lighter
Car drives
Any ideas?? I checked every fuse in the fuse box under the dash. I also checked every cartridge fuse I could see in the fuse box under the hood. The only thing I can think of would be a relay.
Could I really have blown out a relay during the install? I was using a tester to test pins for 12V lines, maybe I accidently shorted 2 pins together or something?
