So, I got a Ranger 3" BL for my 2000 and the rear bumper brackets don't fit. I keep hearing that I'll need to make new brackets for it and there is no way I would be able to do that myself. So, my question is.. Would any of you know of anyone that would be able to make me some and send them to me or anything? There is only 1 lift shop in my area and they charge way too much for anything you want them to do, so they're are my last choice. If you can help, I'd pay for parts, shipping, and whatever else. Thanx in advance. -Amara

You have to grind/cut into the bumper a little for the brackets to fit if I recall..

I thought the brackets fit if you used the 883 kit?

i did actually get the 883 kit, but the kid that put the lift on said they didn't fit.. should i get a 2nd opinion?

The 883 bumper brackets will fit, you might have to notch the bumper slightly.. I'm sure there are a bunch of 2nd gen 95-01 with 3" body lifts that notched their bumper..

i just welded my brackets to the bumper then to the frame :D

I found a more suitable replacement.

Man that pic is old.. I don't even have a latch on it in that pic..

Where can i get one of those?

Ahh break out the cut off saw, grinder, cut off wheel, welder, etc.. :D Actually I may start making them soon.. I'm gonna make a base model of just the bumper with D-ring brackets and bumper mounts..

depending on how handy you are you could always get some steel to make the new brackets do all of your cutting and drilling yourself and then take them up to an exhaust shop to get any welding done
