Need help with stock radio

Hey, I have a 97 Explorer with a 6 disc cd changer. My problem is that When I pick what cd to play, It ejects from the sleeve into the cd player but doesnt spin. Then it switches through all the cds. I picked up a stock 1 disc cd player and I didnt realize that the plugs and wire colors on the harness were different. I have been looking through Google to find a radio wire guide or a write up on how to possible fix my changer but I have had no luck. Any suggestions would be great.
