Need help with strange noise!

Front suspension acting up again!!!

How would I check my CVs to see if they are going bad? My front end somtimes "pops" when I reverse and turn the wheel or go over small bumps. When I was pulling out of the garage this morning, I could hear a faint sound while slowly moving kind of like a very light binding noise. I can only hear it when I'm in the garage because it echos off the walls. Any Ideas on what might be the problem???

sounds like a bad hub

easy to replace, cost about $250

Mine makes a simmilar noise which is my ball joint at the front right, and i guess since my autohub is shot too, its probably that as well.

How can I tell if my hub is bad? I jacked up my truck and turned the wheels by hand to see if I can hear the noise, but I could not. Is it normal for wheels to turn opposite ways while jacked up in the front?

jack it up and try to wobble the wheel, if it feels loose the hub is bad.

which way should I wobble it?? up and down, or side to side?
